We provide more than a place to stay. We achieve a safe and welcoming community that believes in second chances.

Who We Are

Stepping With Independence provides safe, stable independent housing while connecting residents with the community resources they need to move forward. Our role is to offer access to information for services such as employment assistance, healthcare, mental-health providers, benefits programs, ID and document support, education opportunities, and local social-service agencies. We focus on empowering individuals by pointing them toward the right tools, programs, and community partners that can help them reach their personal and housing goals. Our mission is to create a secure environment while guiding clients toward the external resources that support long-term independence and success.

Where home is sweet

This is not a shelter and it’s not chaotic transitional housing. It’s a place for individuals who want consistency, structure, and a real opportunity to focus on their next steps. If you’re serious about stability and growth, Stepping With Independence is where that journey begins.
